Obituary for Angelina Lano (Olivo)

LANO, Angelina (nee Olivo), age 100, of Elmwood Park, died on February 27, 2021. Born and raised in Passaic 21 years, she resided in Garfield for 19 years moving to Elmwood Park 60 years ago. Angelina was a homemaker, a parishioner of Most Holy Name RC Church, a member of the Rosary Society, and the Holy Name Seniors, all of Garfield. Angelina was also a member of the POW Women’s Auxiliary - Clifton Chapter and Garfield VFW Post 2867 Women’s Auxiliary. She is predeceased by her husband, Salvatore in 1999, and her daughter, Carma-Lynn Nucifora in 2019. She is survived by a loving daughter, Nancy Andriulli and husband Rocco, a son-in-law, Charles Nucifora, four cherished grandchildren, Tara and husband Eric, Christopher and wife AnnMarie, Daniel and wife Denise, and Craig and wife Janelle, nine adored great-grandchildren, Alexis, Riley, Christopher, Nicholas, Gabriella, Brennan, Ariella, Lochlan, and Axel, and a dear sister, Aida Folena. Visiting Wednesday 4 to 8 pm. The funeral is Thursday, March 4, 2021, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 8:30 am followed by a 9:30 am mass at Most Holy Name RC Church, Garfield. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook. In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
