Obituary for Anthony Diuro

DIURO, Anthony, age 71, of Garfield, died on February 11, 2021. Born in Newark, Anthony lived in Lyndhurst 30 years settling in Garfield 41 years ago. He was a line maintenance worker over 20 years for the Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission in Newark, was a member of the Harrison Elks Lodge 2326, and The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union, Local 1158 in Clifton. He is predeceased by his mother, Lucy Diuro in 2019. Anthony is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Michele (nee Borth), two cherished daughters, Nicole Lozada and husband Jerry, and Nadyne Diuro-Chermack and husband Michael, nine adored grandchildren, Kristian, Kaleigha, Romeo, Xzavier, Dallas, Kataleya, Sebastian, Victoria, and Isabella, his dear father, Donato Diuro, and a sister, Mary Ann Diuro-Pendan and husband Michael. He was also an uncle to Dana D’Andria and a great uncle to Ciara and Vincent. Visiting Saturday 2 to 6 pm with a 5:30 pm chapel service. Private Cremation.
