CUSMANO, Antonina (nee Cusmano-Rullo), age 89, of Garfield, died on December 26, 2021. Born and raised in Alessandria della Rocca, Sicily-Italy, she emigrated to the United States in 1962 living in Hackensack for six years settling in Garfield 53 years ago. Antonina was a parishioner of Mt. Virgin Church, Garfield and she was a machine operator with Goldberg Slipper Factory in Hackensack retiring in 1966. She is predeceased by her husband, Felice in 2015, and her parents, Vincenzo and Carmela. She is survived by five devoted children, Salvatore and wife Theresa, Pauline Scaglione and husband James, Vincent and wife Josephine, Philip and John, ten cherished grandchildren, Anthony and wife ToniAnne, Danielle and husband Jeremy, James and fiancé Nicole, Nicholas and fiancé Elizabeth, Michael and wife Krystina, Gaetano, Giuliana, Hannah, Sienna and Gabriella, and four great-grandchildren, Alexander, Max, Oliver, and Ella. Visiting Thursday 4 to 8 pm. Please wear a mask and social distance while visiting. The funeral is Friday, December 31, 2021, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 10 am followed by a 11 am chapel service. Entombment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook. In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
