HAMILOU, Georgetta Stella (nee Mergl), age 56, of Garfield, died on January 22, 2020. She was born in Lipova, Romania. She is survived by her mother, Marita Mergl, ex-husband Jorge Sanchez, sister, Stella Panos-Radslovescu and her husband Dan, her brother Otto Mergl, and his wife Dana, their children Theodora, Tina, Demi, and Christopher, nephew and nieces Spiros, Jessica, Melanie and John. Grandmother to Nadia. She is predeceased by her father, John O. Mergl, and her brother Nicu Buruiana. Visiting will be Monday, January 27th, at the Aloia Funeral Home beginning at 11am followed by a 12:30pm service in the funeral home. Interment at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
