MICELI, Carmela, age 85, of Garfield, died on April 24, 2023. Born and raised in San Giovanni Gemini, Sicily-Italy for 30 years, she emigrated to the United States and settled in Garfield 55 years ago. She was a seamstress retiring from the I.L.G.W.U. in Paterson as well as being a parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrorws RC Church, Garfield. She is predeceased by her parents, Nazzaro and Carmela Miceli and brother, Silvio Miceli. She is survived by her loving siblings, Vita Scrudato, Giuseppa Scrudato, Antonina Provenzano with husband Vincenzo, and Geremia “Gino” Miceli with wife Eva. She was a loving Aunt, Great-Aunt, and Great-Great Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Visiting Friday 4 to 8 pm. The funeral is Saturday, April 29, 2023, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 8 am followed by a 9 am mass at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church, Garfield. Entombment Calvary Cemetery, Paterson.
