Obituary for Carol Mary Fattorosi (Muzzi)

Carol Mary Fattorosi, 86, passed peacefully on January 10, 2021 at home. Born and raised in Long Branch, NJ, Carol married John Fattorosi and they moved to Denison, Texas while John was in the Air Force. Eventually, Carol and John moved back to Long Branch to raise their three children where they lived for the next 20 years. For Carol, family came first. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She traveled back and forth to Hawaii quite often to visit much of them who live there still. Carol loved to cook and celebrate with family and friends throughout the years. She opened her home to anyone and everyone. Always feeding large crowds of people. She and John loved to go to the Casino with their friends on a regular basis. Carol and John loved to travel and did quite often visiting Carol’s brother-in-law who lived in Panama Canal Zone. Carol was predeceased by her husband John Fattorosi of Jackson, NJ, her parents, Alphonso and Helen Muzzi of Long Branch, NJ. Surviving are her sister Frances Lucia of Havre de Grace, MD and her loving children, John (Jay, Jaris) Fattorosi of Pahoa, HI, Michael (Mickey) Fattorosi of Honolulu, HI, and Francine Omark and her husband Mark Omark of Jackson, NJ. Her grandchildren, Julie and Lee Aponte of Kailua Kona, HI, Michael Fattorosi of Honolulu, HI, Justin and Shamara Fattorosi of Henderson, NV, Amy Fattorosi of Kailua Kona, HI, Mark Anthony Omark (and Laura) of Boulder, CO, Stephen and Mikayla Omark of Jackson, NJ, Sekava Fattorosi of Beacon, NY and Emily Omark of Jackson, NJ. Her great grandchildren Joshua Aponte, Sean Aponte, Jacob Aponte, Shelby Fattorosi, Josiah Fattorosi, Joseph Fattorosi, Hannah Fattorosi, Jordan Fattorosi, and Josie Omark. Her niece Linda Campbell, and Helen Lucia. Private memorial services are to be held at the Brigadier General William B. Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. In lieu of any flowers, we kindly ask that a donation be made in memory of Carol to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or an organization of your choosing.
