CARROLL, Concetta Marie “Connie” (DeMarco), age 82, of Saddle Brook, died on January 1, 2021. Born and raised in Garfield for 57 years, she settled in Saddle Brook 25 years ago. Concetta was a cafeteria aide in the Saddle Brook School System for many years before retiring and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Marvin in 1989. Concetta is survived by four loving children, Mark Carroll and wife Roxanne, Daniel Carroll and wife Geralynn, Linda Merlo and husband Dean and Rita Faustina, six grandchildren, Keith, Danielle, Rocco, Antonio, Jamie, and Sasha, and three brothers, Jack, Anthony and Joseph DeMarco. Visiting will be Wednesday 3 to 7 pm. The funeral is Thursday, January 7, 2021, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 8 am followed by a 9 am mass at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church, Garfield. Burial St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook. In lieu of flowers the family will accept donations for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
