GIACOMARRO, Constance "Connie" (nee Kasica), age 84, of Garfield, died on January 27, 2021. Born and raised in Passaic before moving to Garfield 69 years ago, Connie served Garfield proudly as a Garfield City Council Member from 2000 to 2004. She also was the Board Secretary to the Bergen County Technical Schools, member of the Democratic County Committee, member of the Garfield Historical Advisory Board, Executive Aid to Freeholder Director Jerry O’Conner and the founder of Connie’s Spray Park in Garfield. She is predeceased by two dear sons, Richard Giacomarro, Jr. and Rory A. Giacomarro, and her sister, Joyce Marchand. She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Richard Giacomarro, Sr., a son, Ryan Giacomarro, a daughter, Richelle Picchierri, a sister Patricia “Pat” Giuffre, five grandchildren; Courtney Morato (Glenn), Jessica Sullivan (Kyla), Jackie Farkas, Marina Kowalczyk (Ziggy) and Leila Giacomarro, and five great-grandchildren; Chloe, Sadie, Ashor, Emmaleigh, and Mason.
