Durak Arifaj, age 83, of Garfield, passed on February 26, 2021. He was born and raised in Peqan, Kosove for 31 years. Fulfilling his dreams, he emigrated to the United States. As a proud American citizen, he would always remain devoted to his homeland and his involvement in the Albanian community. Durak was the owner of Mr. D’s Pizza in Wallington for 10 years before retiring in 2003. He is predeceased by two brothers, Jashar and Hysni. Durak is survived by a loving wife, Lule Arifaj, and three cherished children; Fadil Zod Arifaj, Sofia Giusto, and Nafia Gerbeshi; as well as four adored grandchildren; Shpresa, Besnik, Brianda, and Brandon; and a dear brother, Ali Morina.
