HERNANDEZ, Fabiola (nee Gomez), age 80, of North Arlington, died on October 17, 2022. Born and raised in Medellin, Colombia for 30 years, she emigrated to the United States living in Paterson for 17 years, Garfield 11 years and Passaic Park for 13 years settling in North Arlington 9 years ago. She was an assembly line forewoman with Drake’s Cakes in Wayne, and in Colombia, she was a nurse with the Red Cross. She was a parishioner of St. John’s Cathedral in Paterson. Fabiola is survived by her two devoted sons, Jorge and wife Paulina and Oscar and wife Marcela, four cherished grandchildren, Jacob, Noah, Valeria, and Oriana, and a sister, Silvia Gomez. She is predeceased by her husband, Jorge Hernandez, Sr. in 2020. Visiting Thursday 5 to 8 pm. The funeral is Friday, October 21, 2022, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 9 am followed by a 10 am mass at St. Paul’s RC Church, Clifton. Private cremation to follow.
