MALLEO, Francesco, age 85, of Lodi, died on January 23, 2022. Born and raised in Bolognetta, Sicily-Italy, he emigrated to the United States when he was 16 years old. He lived in the Bronx six years settling in Lodi 63 years ago. Frank owned and operated Tina’s Pizzeria 20 years in Montclair retiring in 2004, and previously co-owned Elmwood Park Meat Market five years and he worked as a foreman in the Garment Industry for 10 years. He was a parishioner of Mt. Virgin Church and a member of the St. Anthony Society, both of Garfield, and he was a member of the I.L.G.W.U. - Passaic Local. Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Maria (nee Sclafani), two loving children, Antonino and wife Karen and Giuseppe and wife Elizabeth, and three cherished grandchildren, Giancarlo, Sara, and Gabriella. He is predeceased by his parents, Gaetana and Antonio Malleo, and siblings, Giuseppa Guttilla, Rosa Mastropaolo and Pietro Malleo. Visiting Thursday 4 to 8 pm. The funeral is Friday, January 28, 2022, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 8 am followed by a 9 am mass at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church, Garfield. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
