BARCIA, Franco “Frank”, age 63, of Garfield, died on July 14, 2023. Born in Marineo, Sicily-Italy, he lived there for six years settling in Garfield 57 years ago. Frank was a foreman with Barcia Brothers Fence Company in Garfield, and a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church, Garfield. He is survived by a beloved daughter, Janelle Storesund and husband Eirik, two loving siblings, Ciro Barcia and wife Paulette and Francesca Busciglio and husband Enzo, two sisters-in-law, Rosa and Piera Barcia, ten nieces and nephews and 18 great-nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Giuseppe (1995) and Giuseppa (2022), and two brother, Pietro (2007) and Carmelo (2018). The funeral is Tuesday, July 18, 2023, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 9 am followed by a 11:30 am mass at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church, Garfield. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook. In lieu of flowers the family will accept donations for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
