FERRARO, Garry Francis, age 70, of Wayne, died on December 25, 2020. Born in Passaic. He lived in Paterson for 25 yrs. Formerly of Pompton Lakes and Garfield. He was a US Navy Veteran from the Vietnam Era. He worked at Passaic County Golf Course as a grounds keeper, afterwards he was a sales associate at Palisades Hardware in Garfield. He retired as a sales associate from Pro Marketing part of Home Depot. He was a parishioner of Mt. Virgin Church, Garfield and a benefactor of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the ASPCA. He was also an assistant coach for the girls softball team in Elmwood Park. He is predeceased by his parents, Frank and Iris, his brother, Joseph, and also by his loving companion, Beatrice Danys. He is survived by three siblings, Lois Ferraro and husband Nye Gervald, Diane Yennie, and Frank Ferraro, a niece, Christina, a nephew, Brian, several great nieces, and his grandchildren, Cana, Jessica, Christian and Isabella Bea. A Memorial Mass will be 12 pm on January 23, 2021 at Our Lady of Mount Virgin RC Church, Garfield. The Ferraro family is in the care of the Aloia Funeral home.
