JACKSON, George, Jr., age 83, of Wayne, died on February 11, 2023. Born in Passaic, he was raised in Garfield for 54 years settling in Wayne 24 years ago. George worked 25 years with Hoffman LaRoche in Nutley as a chemical operator retiring in 1994 as a foreman, and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Consolation RC Church, Wayne. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 62 years, Catherine (nee Martorano), four beloved children, Karen Jackson, George Jackson, III and wife Lisa Ann, Michael Jackson, and Lisa Sundel and husband Stephen, seven adored grandchildren, Alyssa Skurteski (Nikola), Michael Jackson, Jr. (Samantha Zarro), Matthew Jackson, Laura Jackson, Rachel Jackson, Jenna Sundel and Ryan Sundel, a dear sister, Maryann Greff and husband Roger and his sister-in-law, Mary Grace Martorano and wife Virginia Prince-Riviello. He is predeceased by parents, George, Sr. and Stephanie (nee Saganiec), his in-laws, Marilyn Martorano and Frank Martorano. Visiting Wednesday 3 to 7 pm. The funeral is Thursday, February 16, 2023, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 10 am followed by a 11 am mass at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church, Garfield.
