ALICEA, Igna “Monse”, age 75, of Butler, died on December 5, 2022. Born and raised in Camuy, Puerto Rico for 15 years, she lived in Paterson 52 years settling in Butler 8 years ago. Igna was a woman of faith worshiping God with her love of singing and gift giving, and she was a homemaker who loved cooking for her family and friends. She is survived by her three devoted children, Edna Brown and husband Anton, Felix M. Acevedo, Jr. and wife Luzangela, and Omaida Acevedo and husband Anthony, eight cherished grandchildren, Carlos, Stephanie, Orlando, Tatiana, Jonel, Andrew, Justin, and Cory and 22 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents, Manuel Alicea and Maria Velez, and her beloved grandson, Jayden Acevedo. Visiting Thursday 5 to 7 pm. Private cremation to follow.
