Irene was a great person to know. She enthusiastically organized many of our GHS reunions. We shared the same birthday and always exchanged cards, phone calls, and memories. She will be greatly missed. Our sincere condolences to her family.

Irene will always be remembered as a loyal and caring friend and confidante. She was the glue that held the class of ‘57 together, always thinking of others throughout the years. She was a beautiful person both in and out and a wonderful and loving mother to her lovely daughter Renee.
Rest in peace my beautiful friend,

It was with heavy sadness that I learned that Irene Dambrosio had passed away. I share my sorrow with family and friends. Going through so many serious health issues, Irene was strong willed and had overcome many adversities before. Sadly, contracting the Covid virus was just too much for her to overcome. After going though years of ill fortune, pain and suffering, may Irene rest in peace.

Irene especially cared for her friends and classmates and did much to keep the class members together. She and her friends gladly and enthusiastically offered their time and efforts to organize many class reunions and restaurant parties. Through those generous endeavors, old friends and classmates were given the opportunity to be together again, to enjoy reacquainting and sharing their memories. She very much looked forward to preparing for these occasions over many years since high school graduation in 1957. She took great pleasure in the success of party events, sharing her cheer and high spirits as she happily observed and joined the mingling activities of spirited friendships, once again reigniting. Irene showed loyal and loving concern for her classmates and friends, keeping in touch with thoughtful phone calls, birthday and holiday greeting cards. Her warm friendship, kind spirit and joyful presence will be sorely missed.
