D'AMBROSIO, Irene (nee Barrale), age 81, of Lodi, died on March 13, 2021. Born in Passaic, she lived in Garfield 40 years, Hasbrouck Heights 20 years and Lodi the past 21 years. She worked as a bookkeeper 35 years for Amloid in Saddle Brook, Lloyd’s Electronic in Passaic, and worked part-time in the fashion industry. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s RC Church, Lodi and a member of the Garfield AARP. She was the matriarch of the Barrale family and the Heart and Soul of GHS Class of 1957. She is predeceased by her first husband, Domenic DeGondea in 2003, and second husband, Anthony D’Ambrosio in 2012, and her parents, Savario “Sam” and Rose Barrale. She is survived by her devoted and beloved daughter, Renee DeGondea and boyfriend, Lodi Police Chief Donald Scorzetti, and two dear cousins, John Barrale and wife Debbie and Frank Barrale and wife Regina. Visiting Wednesday 3 to 7 pm with a 6:30 pm chapel service. In lieu of flowers the family is accepting memorial gifts.
