VANDERLAAN, John, age 56, of Wood Ridge, died on May 6, 2023. Born and raised in Passaic for 48 years, John settled in Wood-Ridge eight years ago. He was an installer for many years with Reno’s Appliance in Fairfield, and was a very talented handyman. John is survived by five devoted children, Lauren Vanderlaan, Cheyanne Vanderlaan, Hope Vanderlaan, John Vanderlaan, Jr., and Charmaine Reynoso, six adored grandchildren, and five dear siblings, Robert Vanderlaan, Edward Vanderlaan, Martin Vanderlaan, Tessie Vanderlaan, and Barbara Cervantes.
