Fran and Frank,
Joe was my parents Best Man at their wedding in 1955, my Dad's closest friend for 75 years (since grammar school) and my Baptismal Godfather. My Mom, sister and I are so sad to hear of his passing, but, we know he is in a better place. He was always a part of my families birthdays and made many musical recordings with my parents , some on vinyl records, while my parents sang and he played his beloved piano. When we last visited him at his home for Christmas in 2016, his awareness of who we were to him was a challenge to recall, but, he played his electric piano for us , never missing a note. We called out songs at random and he played everyone perfectly! My dad cared deeply about Joe and I remember him being very upset when Joe started to show early signs of decline. Always wanting the best care for him was his goal. Thank you Fran and Frank for making his last years as comfortable as possible in the comfort of your home.

Dear Francine and Frank, It saddens me to see that your Uncle Joe has passed away. His passing brings back so many warm and loving memories of your dear family. Your Aunt Rose being my Godmother. . .your Aunt Frances and her family's close connection with mine. . .and of course your dear dad and mom. . . and your Aunt Mary. Although we were not blood relatives, we were brought up knowing and loving each other as family. Your Uncle Joe's God given talent of music was instrumental in many of the old Mt. Virgin musical show arrangements. Not to ever forget the years he graced us with beautiful music from the choir loft. These are rich memories that one never forgets. Your Uncle Joe was a gracious and kind human being and now he has joined his wonderful family in the heavens above. May God continue to bless you and your wonderful family with the peace and joy of life, and the safety of good health. Most sincerely, Maria Oliveri (Bella and Frank's daughter)
