MILITELLO, Josephine (nee Sansone), age 62, of Garfield, died on March 12, 2022. Born and raised in Termini Imerese, Sicily-Italy for 13 years, Josephine emigrated to the United States settling in Garfield 49 years ago. She was a homemaker, a member of the San Pio Prayer Group, a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church, and Our Lady of Sorrows RC Church, all of Garfield. Josephine is predeceased by her father, Luigi Sansone, and a sister, Rose Battaglia. She is survived by her adored husband of 44 years, Vito, two devoted children, Maurizio Militello and wife Devika, and Daniela Armenio and husband Vinnie, a loving mother, Concetta Sansone, four cherished grandchildren, Isabella, Matteo, Mia, and Eliana, and two dear brothers, Carmelo Sansone, and Salvatore Sansone and wife Sue. Visiting Wednesday 4 to 8 pm. The funeral is Thursday, March 17, 2022, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 8 am followed by a 9 am mass at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church, Garfield.
