KASPERSKI, Joyce M. (nee Perretta), age 77, of Garfield, died on February 7, 2023. Born in Hackensack, Joyce was raised in Lodi living in Clifton for 40 years before settling in Garfield. She was a beautician by trade, and worked as a Photo Processor with Union Photo in Clifton for 15 years retiring in 1998. She was a member and on the Board of Directors, and Vice President and Secretary for the Garfield AARP - Chapter 2470 , and was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales RC Church, Lodi. Joyce is predeceased by her first husband, John Pollock in 2000, and her second husband, Ted Kasperski in 2017. She is survived by a loving daughter, Susan Vaught and husband David, three cherished grandchildren, Lauren Cabaj and husband Piotr, Leo V. Peterson, IV, and Kaitlin Peterson, four adored great-grandchildren, Saige, Penelope, Winter, and Gunner, and two dear sisters, Francine Del Re and husband Salvatore, and Janet Perretta. Visiting Thursday 12 to 3 pm. Private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers the family will accept memorial donations.
