Obituary for Kate Russo (Koller)

RUSSO, Kate (nee Koller), age 95, of Elmwood Park, died on October 10, 2022. Born in Passaic, Kate lived in Garfield and Lodi settling in Elmwood Park 52 years ago. She was a homemaker, a parishioner of St. Anne’s RC Church, Fair Lawn and was a member of the Elmwood Park VFW Women’s Auxiliary. Kate is predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Michael J. Russo in 2015, her parents, Joseph and Margaret Koller, her siblings, Ernie Koller, John Koller, Theodore Koller, Annie Koller, Margaret Gaydos, Helen Warren, Vickie Koller, and Terri Scangarella. She is survived by three children, Jerry M. Russo and wife Joni Everett-Russo, Laura Russo and Karen Russo, six grandchildren, Lorelei Loretta Russo, Jacqueline Bobbi Russo, Michael Russo, Joan Marie Casey, Anthony Menendez, and Nicole Menendez, four great-grandchildren, Gianna, Frankie, Maddie, and Stevie, a niece, Veda Russo-Milin, and two brothers-in-law, Onofrio Louis Russo and Edward Amodio Russo. Visiting Friday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. The funeral is Saturday, October 15, 2022, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 8 am with a 9 am chapel service. Interment St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi.
