GURAK, Kathleen “Noodles” age 78, of Garfield, died on March 24, 2022. Born and raised in Garfield 26 years, she lived in New York City 20 years, settling back in Garfield 26 years ago. She was a balloon artist, face painter, jewelry maker, an avid pet lover, and was a self-employed clown retiring seven years ago. Kathleen was also a member of the New Jersey Comics Clown Alley. Prior to her career in Clowning, she worked in the Audio-Visual industry in New York City. She is predeceased by her father, Edward Gurak. Kathleen is survived by her mother, Mary Gurak Bielen (nee Glowacki), three siblings, Frances Martin, Edward Gurak and wife Susan, and Patricia Rigoliosi, a step-sister, Nancy Bielen, two nieces, two nephews, and eight great nieces and nephews. Visiting Friday, April 1, 2022, from 4 to 7 pm. Private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers the family will accept memorial gifts for St. Jude Children’s Hospital and the National Humane Society.
