Obituary for Luz A. Lopez
LOPEZ, Luz A., age 78, of Clifton. Luz A. Lopez passed from this Earth to be with the Lord on December 31, 2020. Everyone that knew her loved her and will miss her dearly.
Her profession was the most honorable one of all. She was a loving and devoted mother, and a meticulous homemaker that always paid attention to the smallest details. She was an exceptional cook. Always the perfect amount of “sofrito,” and salt, or it did not meet her standards. Her greatest joy truly was having all her children at home for dinner.
Luz was a very strong woman who asked for very little, but deserved the best in life. She lived by faith, and had a strong belief in God. In her lifetime, Luz enjoyed sewing, cross stitch, crossword puzzles, reading, and watching her “novelas.”
Luz is predeceased by her parents, husband and many brothers, sisters and family members. She will forever be missed by her children: Eneida, Eriberto, Marilyn, Nancy and Carlos and his wife Jennifer. She has two precious grandchildren, Matthew and Jessica, who made her very proud and she loved and adored endlessly.
She will be dearly missed by her sister Carmen, two brothers Norberto and Monse, and her sister-in-law Jovita. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
