Luz Helenia Vallejo Bracero – "Lucy"
We regretfully announce the passing of our dear mother, Luz H. Bracero, on April 17, 2022, at the age of 94. She was surrounded by her family and passed away peacefully.
Our mother Luz (Lucy) Bracero was one of the strongest, bravest and kindest women to ever walk this earth and our family was so blessed to have her as the head of the family for all these years. She was a wonderful and loving mother who gave her ALL to her family. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her.
Luz (Lucy) Bracero was predeceased by her parents, Victorio and America Vallejo, three sisters, Josephina “Elba”, Patricia Vitetta and Sonia Arzola, and eight brothers, David, Salvatore, Victor, Jr., Samuel, Roberto, Ivan, Victor “Manchao” and Luis. May they all Rest In Eternal Peace. Luz (Lucy) Bracero is survived by her sister, Mildred Girona and her brother, Hector Vallejo, three beloved children, Arlene Gomez, Porfirio Bracero, Jr. and Maria Minando, and six cherished grandchildren, Ivan, Jr., Eric, Ella, Mario, Sophia and Domenic.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony to be held 12 to 2 pm on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Avenue, Garfield, NJ (973-340-7077). On Sunday, June 19, 2022, the family will gather to spread her ashes. Condolences/Directions visit aloiafuneral.com
