KRZASTEK, Mieczyslaw Kazimierz, age 63, of Garfield, died on April 26, 2023. Born in Kolbuszowa, Poland, Mieczyslaw emigrated to the United States settling in Garfield 33 years ago. He was a self-employed painter for many years, a parishioner of Holy Rosary RC Church, Passaic, and was a Private serving in the Polish Military. Miezyslaw loved music and was a musician with the Polish Band, Fenix. He will be remembered for his very easy going personality and he was a friend to everyone. He is predeceased by his parents, Adam and Katarzyna Krzastek, and a brother, Boleslaw Krzastek. Miezyslaw is survived by three loving daughters, Anna Parapi, Sandy Krzastek (Maciej Kies) and Jessica Krzastek (Lukasz Wyrwas), one cherished granddaughter, Vanessa Valentina Parapi, his former wife, Boguslawa Krzastek, and four dear siblings, Teresa Flis, Alfreda Kopec, Wladyslawa Szymanska and Stanislawa Kopec. The funeral is Saturday, April 29, 2023, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 8 am followed by a 10:30 am mass at Holy Rosary RC Church, Passaic. Interment St. Michael’s Cemetery, South Hackensack.
