Obituary for Mildred "Millie" Pruzinsky (Grecco)

PRUZINSKY, Mildred (nee Grecco), age 94, of Garfield, died on March 31, 2021. Born and raised in Garfield, she was employed as an administrative assistant for Dassault Falcon Jet Corp. in Little Ferry for 25 years.
Mildred loved life. She traveled the United States on bus trips with her husband Stephen, always returning with great stories and new friends from her travels. Millie loved playing cards weekly with the "Card Sharks," Mary, Tina, and cousin Mary. She never forgot her turn to bring the cake. On the third Thursday of each month she was off to Atlantic City. Her family and holidays spent together with everyone was paramount to her. She is survived by her loving family, husband Stephen of 71 years, a son Michael (wife Ann), two daughters, Maria Andrezzi (husband retired Garfield Police Chief Robert), and Joyce Horwitz, five grand children, Kimberly, Rob, Jessica,Stephen, and Matthew, 4 great-grand children, Joey, Gabriella, Angelina and Eddie, one brother Jack Grecco and two sisters Mary Cirello and Josephine Paul. She is predeceased by her son-in-law Martin Horwitz in 2020 and her brother Steven Grecco. A chapel service will be held Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook, at 12 noon. The Pruzinsky family is in the care of the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield (973-340-7077). A memorial service will be held at a later date.
