Richard Henry Langer (Richie), age 79, passed away after a brief illness at Garnet Medical Center, Middletown, NY on April 5, 2023. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Dorothy Doremus and Henry Langer. He lived in New York State until he graduated from Port Jervis High School and then moved to Towaco, NJ where he met Jeanette DuBarry who became his wife. They recently celebrated their 61st anniversary. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette and daughter, Denise Raykov of Bradenton, FL and son, Richard K. Langer of Boonton, NJ, several cousins, neices and nephews. Richard was predeceased by his parents and sisters, Helen Muriano, Carol Doremus, Connie Tumpey, and Betsy Pollak and brother, Joe Doremus and grandson, Phillip Guttridge. Richie was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed going to car shows and collecting classic cars and trucks. He was a member for many years of the Otisville Sportsmen’s Club. He had many friends and family who he liked to sit on the porch and have a beer with. He will be forever loved and forever remembered by all.
