DOCKRAY, Robert Charles, Jr. - On January 26, 2022 heaven gained an angel, Robert Charles Dockray Jr., age 55, of Hawthorne. Robert (Bob/Bobby) graduated top of his class at the New York Culinary Institute and worked as a chef with extreme pride at the Firehouse Family Restaurant in Garfield for an amazing 12 years where he made many friends who became family to him. Bobby was also a Third degree Knight and member of the Monsignor Reverend Joseph R. Brestel Council 5920 in Hawthorne. Robert Dockray would do anything for anyone, he had an amazingly huge heart and will be sorely missed. He was an avid Cowboys and Red Soxs fan. Robert is survived by his loving parents, Robert and Phyllis Dockray, three dear siblings, Eric Dockray, Ryan Dockray, and Corin Dockray, his nieces and nephews, Brianna and Shea Dockray, Madison Ramsey, Ricky, Ryan, Jr. and Mason Dockray. He was a brother-in-law to Michele Dockray, Nicole Dockray and extended Uncle to Cole, Aidan and Colin Anderson. A Memorial Mass will be 9:30 am on February, 11, 2022 at St. Anthony's RC Church, 276 Diamond Bridge Avenue, Hawthorne with his life celebration to immediately follow at the Firehouse Family Restaurant, 42 Plauderville Avenue, Garfield.
