WOJDYLA, Ronald, age 80, of Dumont, passed quietly at his home surrounded by family on November 23, 2020. Hardworking and social is an understatement. There are too many memories to list, but some of our fondest ones are of him working on his custom black and silver ‘57 Chevy Bel Air, or cracking his infamous jokes “you can mash mashed potatoes but you can’t pea soup” or “may I have scrambled eggs don’t break the yolk”. He loved bluegrass music, splitting wood, NASCAR and most of all a good meal; those who knew him liked to say that he lived to eat and ate to live. He was everybody’s friend and to know him was to love him. His favorite artist, Dolly Parton said it best, “I will always love you”. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Judy, was the father of three children and a proud Poppy of four grandchildren. All services were privately held by the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Avenue, Garfield, NJ (973-340-7077). Please make any charitable contribution you wish to make on Ron's behalf to Bergen Center of Child Development where Judy Wojdyla works. - https://bergencenter.com/fund-bergen-center-new-schools-projects/
