GIAMO, Rose (nee LiCata ), age 99, a lifelong resident of Garfield, died on February 4, 2023. Rose owned and operated Rose Sportswear for 40 years in Garfield and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church, Garfield. She is predeceased by her husband, Salvatore "Sam" Giamo in 2005, and a brother, James Passentino. Rose is survived by a daughter, Phyllis Principe, two siblings, Mary Iacovino, and Vincent LiCata, and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Visiting Thursday 4 to 8 pm. The funeral is Friday, February 10, 2023, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 9:30 am followed by a 10:30 am mass at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church, Garfield.
