ASCENZI, Rosemarie J., age 70, a lifelong resident of Lodi, died on May 9, 2023. Rosemarie was a parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows Church where she was a faithful volunteer. She was president of the Rosary Society, CYO Advisor and an Eucharistic Minister. She also was a dedicated employee retiring in 2007 as the store secretary from Pathmark in Botany Village, Clifton after 38 years, and she was a member of the Retail Clerk Union - Local 1262 in Clifton. Rosemarie was the loving aunt to Brad Ascenzi and wife Gina, and Richard Schuler, a beloved great aunt to Stephanie Schuler who was also her Goddaughter, Danielle Schuler, Braden Ascenzi, Cade Ascenzi and Rachel Redmond, and she was the best friend since 1976 to Reverend Patrick Flannery. She is predeceased by her parents, Adriano and Erminia Ascenzi, her brother, Adrian Ascenzi, her niece, Andrea Schuler, and her sister-in-law, Starla Ascenzi. Memorial visiting will be Wednesday 4 to 7 pm. Everyone will meet Thursday morning for her 10:30 am Memorial Mass at St. Joseph’s RC Church, Lodi. Inurnment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
