Obituary for Salvatore Scaravilli, Jr.

SCARAVILLI, Salvatore, Jr., age 28, a lifelong resident of Lodi, was called home to the Lord on July 1, 2023. Salvatore was a 2012 Paramus Catholic High School Graduate, earned his Associates Degree from Bergen County Community College, was an apprentice with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers - Local 164 of Paramus, and a parishioner of St. Joseph’s RC Church in Lodi. Sal had the brightest personality and immediately filled the room with joy and laughter with his warm smile. Beloved son of Salvatore and Rosalba Scaravilli, dear brother of Michael and Alexa Scaravilli, loving grandson of Marco and Angela Cangialosi, and cherished nephew of his Godmother Sarah Salamone and husband Mauro, Sally Giglio and husband Silvestro, Francesca Scaravilli, Giusi Scaravilli and Vincenzo Scaravilli, Godfather Joe Barbieri and his wife Cathy, and Sal’s extended family, Augie and Rosalba Ducato. He is also survived by his cousins, Salvatore Giglio and wife Nicole, Max Giglio, Liana Luciano and husband Filippo, Chiara Lopez, Sullivan Lopez, Jack Calderone and wife Ashlie, Jacqueline Mawer and husband Bobby and Alexandra Ducato, and his adored little cousins, Adeline, Filippo, Carmelo, Everett, Alejandro and Giacomo. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Carmelo and Maria Concetta Scaravilli. Visiting Wednesday 3 to 7 PM. The funeral is Thursday, July 6, 2023, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 8:30 AM followed by a 10 am mass at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church, Garfield. Entombment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook. In lieu of flowers the family is accepting memorial donations in Salvatore’s name to the Lodi PBA, Local 26.
