DI GANGI, Santo, age 83, of Garfield, died on May 4, 2022. Born and raised in Castellana, Sicola, Italy for 21 years, he emigrated to the United States living in Passaic for four years settling in Garfield 58 years. Santo was a dyer 28 years working first at Advance Dye and Finish Company in Clifton two years and then Marijon Dyeing and Finishing Company in East Rutherford 26 years retiring in 2001. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church, Garfield, a member of the Italian Soccer Club, Passaic, and member of the Textile Dye Union - Local 1932, Paterson. Santo is predeceased by his son, Joseph Santo Di Gangi in 1999. He is survived by his loving daughter, Lisa Di Gangi, and two dear siblings, Serafino and Rosa Di Gangi. The funeral is Monday, May 9, 2022, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 9 am for visitation followed by a 11 am mass at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church, Garfield.
