BASILE, Sebastiano “Sam”, age 61, of Lodi, died on February 12, 2022. Born in Baucina, Sicily-Italy, he lived there six years emigrating to the United States and settling in Lodi 55 years ago. Sam was a mason with the Mason Tenders Union - Local 79 in New York, NY, was a parishioner of Mt. Virgin Church, Garfield, and a friend of Bill W. He is predeceased by his wife, Cathy in 1992, and his father, Vincenzo. Sebastiano is survived by his son, Derek Basile and wife McKenzie and his mother, Beatrice Basile. Visiting Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral is Thursday, February 17, 2022, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 10 am followed by a 11 am mass at Our Lady of Mt.
