I grew up in Union City with the Nordt Family, my family lived around the block from them and we became like family. Steve, Dave and Dennis were more like brothers to me than friends. We hung out, played sports, games, went to the movies, in the summer, we used to take 2 buses to get to the Bayonne pool. On weekend nights, we use to buy beer and hang out in their shed in the backyard as teenagers. As we got older, Steve was one of the first to get his driver's license and car and would drive us around. He was a great friend and mentor, someone we all looked up to and respected. Steve and Dennis you are and will be dearly missed! Until we meet again! Tom Orsini

My name is Susan Dunphy. I bowled with Steven Nordt in the G & L Friday Night League for a number of years. He was a pleasure to bowl with, always encouraging and upbeat. My thoughts are with Steve's family at this time.
