OZAETA, Susy (nee Pereira), age 84, of Ridgefield, died on December 31, 2021. Born and raised in Havana, Cuba, Susy immigrated to the United States in 1961. She settled in Northern New Jersey in 1967 and lived in West New York from 1975 until her retirement as a bookkeeper in 2004. Upon retirement, Susy and her husband Alex moved to Hollywood, FL where they lived for 14 years before returning to New Jersey in 2018. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Alex Ozaeta, two devoted children, Paul Ozaeta and Stephanie Ozaeta-Aponte, three beloved grandchildren, Michelle Ozaeta, Martin Ozaeta, and Amaia Aponte, a brother, Antonio Pereira and nieces, Mirta Soto and Lourdes Pereira.
