PEREZ, Diomedes Bienvenido (Tony Perez), age 68, of Paterson, died on February 13, 2021. Born November, 2, 1952 in the Dominican Republic, he migrated to the US in 1977, long after became a citizen of the United States, settling in Paterson. Tony was a great example of a hard working man who loved his career working as a mechanic almost 50 years. He was a great son, brother, father, grandfather and friend, and had a very kind heart. Tony enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and loved helping others. He was always positive and was known for his best saying “You have a problem, I have a solution!” Today we say goodbye to an extraordinary man...may he Rest In Peace. We love you! Tony is survived by 9 children: Joanne, Emmanuel, Noe, Betania, Jomayra, Charity, Michelle, Jonathon, and Heidi; 17 grandchildren: Noah Perez, Noellen Perez , Nicholas Perez, Vincent Gagliardi, Gianna Gagliardi , Gabriela Gagliardi, Michael Covelski, Penelope Covelski, Nathaniel Cuevas, Anele Aaliyah Garcia, Amethyst Azul Garcia, Ameenah Jennah Majeed, Aleenah Jenna Majeed, Adam Josiah Zeidan Majeed, Elijah Luciano LaGuerre, Noah Akil LaGuerre, and Athena Lucy LaGuerre; and 7 siblings: Miguelina Perez, Nelson Perez, Domingo Perez, Mariluz Perez, Margarita Serrano, Rosario Perez, and Orlando Perez. Visiting Wednesday 4 to 7 pm. The funeral is Thursday, February 18, 2021, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 9 am followed by a 10 am mass at Most Holy Name RC Church, Garfield.
