Obituary for Victor R. Scillieri

Victor Ralph Scillieri
January 13, 1927 – March 26, 2023

A native of Paterson, New Jersey, Victor R. Scillieri passed from this life at ninety-six (96) years old. After serving in the United States Army during WWII, he earned a Barber’s License and worked for his father’s Riverside barbershop but went on to study and graduate in Marketing from Farleigh Dickenson University in Rutherford, New Jersey. He began his career with Curtis Wright but moved onto Singer Kearfott, as a buyer purchasing components for the Naval and NASA Guidance Systems. Victor was an avid skier until he was 75, a tennis player into his late 80’s and ran the Wayne Senior Tennis League. He was a long-standing member of Golden Age and the Wayne Elks where he loved to dance with his wifeAngela (nee Migliorino) of 72 years, who predeceased him. Victor leaves behind two daughters, Laura and Donna; four grandchildren, Nick, Tiffany, Jeremy, and Victoria; and four great-grandchildren, Todd, Tess, Tanner, and Thomas. As a true Paterson native, he always loved slap stick comedy, especially Abbott and Costello, Laurel and Hardy, the East Side Kids and the Honeymooners with a dash of Steve Harvey.
