Obituary for Vincenza Mazzola (Cicero)

MAZZOLA, Vincenza (nee Cicero), age 93, of Lodi, died on February 24, 2022. Born in Castelbuono, Italy, she lived there 29 years and Garfield 20 years settling in Lodi 44 years ago. She was a seamstress 35 years with the Amalgamated Textile Worker’s Union, NY, NY retiring in 1994 and a parishioner of Mt. Virgin Church, Garfield. She is predeceased by her husband, Gioacchino Mazzola, her siblings, Gioacchino Cicero and Paola Militello, a niece, Rosaria Cicero, and her in-laws, Vincent Venturella and Vincenza Cicero. She is survived by two devoted siblings, Giovanna Venturella and Domenico Cicero, she was a dear sister-in-law to Nicolina Cicero and Salvatore Militello, a loving aunt to Lorenzo Cicero, Frank Venturella, Vincent Militello, Lawrence Cicero, Frank Cicero, Anthony Cicero, and Lorenzo Militello, and many great-nephews. Visiting Tuesday 3 to 7 pm. The funeral is Wednesday, March 2, 2022, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 8:30 am followed by a 9:30 am mass at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church, Garfield.
