Grady Lee  Rogers
ROGERS, Grady Lee, age 64, of East Orange, died on January 14, 2015. Born in Dillon, South Carolina, he lived there for 7 years before moving to Newark where he lived for 23 years, settling in East Orange in 1980. He was a machinist with Interbake Foods, Newark, an Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War, and a member of the Irvington VFW. He is survived by his loving wife the former Cathelene Williams, five children, Tyesha McAllister, Salik Lee Rogers and wife Chioma, Lashana Rogers and husband Damiand Quijano, Jon Lee Rogers, and Shanice Rogers, three sisters, Patricia Williams, Betty Louise Brown, and Gloria Jean Jackson, and six grandchildren. He is predeceased by a sister, Johnnie Mae Rogers. The funeral is Friday, January 23, 2015, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 9:30 am followed by an 11am service. Interment Fairmount Cemetery, Newark. The Rogers family is in the care of the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield (973-340-7077).
