Obituary for Carmen Russo

Carmen  Russo
RUSSO, Carmen, age 91, of Clifton, died on February 12, 2017. Born and raised in Passaic for 53 years, he settled in Clifton 38 years ago. He was a Marine Corps Veteran during WWII, and a sergeant 32 years with the City of Passaic Police Department retiring in 1979. Carmen was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Church in Passaic where he was a member of the Usher Society, and he honorably served the City of Passaic on the Board of Education. He was also a member of the PBA, The American Legion, and UNICO, all of Passaic. He was predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Maria (nee Guerrieri) in 2014, and his brothers, Thomas and Joseph Russo. Loving father of Annamaria Imbruglia and husband Anthony, Pat Russo and wife Kim, and Carmen Russo, beloved grandfather of Theresa, Anthony, Maria, Cné, Patrick, Carmen, and Briana, cherished great-grandfather of Ava, Sophia, Kenny, and Anthonymichael, and dear brother of Anthony Russo and wife Lottie, Rosemarie Trentacost and husband Victor, and Anita Lipari. Visiting Wednesday 4 to 8 pm. The funeral is Thursday, February 16, 2017, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 8:30 am followed by a 9:30 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Church, Passaic.
