LO BUE, Angela (nee Aiosa), age 92, of Chester, Virginia, formerly of Garfield, died on Wednesday, September 6, 2017. Born and raised in Lercara Friddi, Sicily-Italy for 43 years, she emigrated to Garfield in 1968 where she lived for 43 years moving to Chester, VA three years ago. She worked for Marcal Paper in Elmwood Park many years before retiring, and she was a parishioner of both Our Lady of Sorrows RC Church, Garfield, and St. Ann’s RC Church, Colonial Heights, VA. She is predeceased by her husband, Gioacchino Lo Bue in 1989, her two sons-in-law, Silvano Piferi and Sammy Miceli, her siblings, Salvatore, Antonina, Paola, and Anna Aiosa, and her parents, Salvatore and Rosalia Aiosa. Loving mother of Carmelina Piferi, Rosalia Miceli, Gaetano “Guy” Lo Bue, Salvatore Lo Bue and wife Joan, and Rosanna Obsuth and husband Michael, cherished grandmother of 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, and dear sister of Paolo Aiosa, Maria Raia, and Giuseppina Scibona. Visiting Sunday 4 to 8 pm. The funeral is Monday, September 11, 2017, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 10 am followed by a 11 am chapel service. Entombment Calvary Cemetery, Paterson.
