Alexander "Al" J.  Bianchi Jr.
BIANCHI, Alexander “Al”, age 80, of Garfield, died on January 16, 2011. He was born in Passaic residing there for 14 years and Clifton for 14 years before moving to Garfield 52 years ago. He was a salesman for Village Photo of Palisades Park for 30 years retiring in 2000. He served in the Army in Korea receiving the rank of Sergeant First Class, he was a member of the Garfield VFW, and a parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows Church. He is predeceased by his grandson Joseph Bianchi. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Betty (nee Shortino ), a daughter Lisa Delahanty and her husband Tim, two sons, Mark and his wife Joann and Frank and his wife Vickie, a brother Len Bianchi, and 6 grandchildren, Frank and his wife Lauren, Alyssa, Kristi, Kyle, Mark Jr., and Joseph. The funeral is Thursday, January 20, 2011, arriving 9:30 am at the Aloia Funeral Home followed by a 10:30 am mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Garfield. Interment St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi.
