Dominick Marchese, Jr.
April 6, 1953 – January 23, 2021 (age 67)

Dominick (“Dom”) Marchese, Jr., 67, originally from Garfield, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 23, surrounded by loved ones.
Dominick was born and raised in Garfield, NJ, eventually relocating to Elmwood Park where he and his wife (and high school sweetheart), Patricia, raised their family. He called Clifton home for the past two years.
Dominick was known for his compassionate nature, his quick wit and humor. He left a big impression on everyone he met. Most recently, Dominick volunteered with Power Of One in Clifton, NJ, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the local community, by helping to distribute healthy food care packages for thousands of senior citizens, disabled individuals, and at-risk families. He loved spending time with his family, his grandchildren (who affectionately called him “G-pa”) and his friends at the Grande Saloon in Clifton, NJ.
Dominick is predeceased by his parents; Dominick Marchese, Sr. and Olga Marchese (Napolitano) of Garfield, NJ.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Patricia Marchese (nee Bukszar); their daughter Kimberly Marchese and fiancé, John “Mongo” Caprio (who Dom affectionately nicknamed “the gorilla”); their son Kenneth Marchese and his wife, Lisa; grandchildren, Olivia and Mason; Siblings Ronald Marchese, Thomas Marchese and Lisa Taylor. Dominick will also be forever remembered by numerous extended family and dear friends.
Contributions to Power Of One (https://powerofoneccom.org/) in Dominick’s name are welcome by the family.

I am very sad to hear of the passing of my cousin Dominick. My condolences go out to Patty, Ken and Kimmie. Also to Lisa, Ronnie and Tom. I am sorry I can not be there with you all as family should be at this sad time.
I have great memories of time spent with the “Don” of North Jersey. I look forward to seeing him on the other side at that DiCarlo Cousin Party.
Love you all,
Frank Curcio

Sending my deepest condolences to the whole Marchese family on this most immense loss. I have so many fond memories of Dominick throughout my childhood and teen years. He was definitely someone who commanded such a presence, I used to be scared of him a little bit! That was, until I got to know him much better and I learned he was totally a big softie. It’s been such a long time since I’ve seen him but I remember him very clearly— making wise cracks and the best facial expressions that always gave away what he was thinking. He was always, ALWAYS so kind and welcoming to me. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time, and have faith that he is now always with all of you.
